If you haven’t stayed somewhere with self check-in before, it’s worth knowing exactly what to expect before you arrive in Birmingham — it’s simpler than most guests assume, and there’s no front desk to find.
Before you arrive. Once your booking is confirmed, we’ll send your check-in instructions along with your unique access code. This code is generated fresh for your reservation and changed again once you leave, so you and your group are the only people who have it during your stay.
On arrival. Standard check-in is from 4:00pm. You’ll use your code to unlock the electronic lock at the front door — no key to collect, no one to wait for. If your travel plans mean you’re likely to arrive earlier or need to leave later than our standard 10:00am check-out, get in touch in advance. We can’t guarantee it, as it depends on other bookings either side of yours, but we’ll always try to accommodate it and will confirm 24 hours ahead if it’s possible.
Once you’re in. Every property comes with wireless internet, a smart TV for your own streaming apps, and a fully equipped kitchen. We provide a starting supply of essentials — travel-size toiletries and enough paper products to get you through arrival and your first grocery run — though if you’re particular about brands or staying longer, it’s worth picking up your own on the way in.
If anything comes up. This is where staying with us differs most from a platform listing. Danny and Callum run the portfolio directly, so a question about parking, the boiler, or anything else during your stay goes straight to someone who can actually resolve it — not a support ticket routed through a third party.
At check-out. Simply leave by 10:00am on your departure day. There’s no need to wait around for anyone to check the property in person.
